Did I tell you the coming election cycle would be nothing, if not fun?\u00a0 Well, at least comical.\u00a0 I\u2019m going to take a pass on the Herschel Walker Variety Show down there in the Peachy State.\u00a0 Making fun of the poor guy at this point would be tantamount to sadistic cruelty.\u00a0 Making fun of the Crackers who would vote for him might be fair game, but now that the Donald is back on the campaign trail, the oxygen in that room is long ago depleted.<\/p>\n
One thing you have to give credit to the Trumpster for \u2013 or maybe Roy Cohn \u2013 is the ability, the tenacity, the mule-headedness to stick to his story.\u00a0 Dammit, the election was stolen from him.\u00a0 You remember the election, don\u2019t you?, the last one, oh, must be a couple years ago now, a millennium in the digital age.\u00a0 Well, HE remembers it and he wants to remind you again and again it was STOLEN!\u00a0 Go ahead and show him the statistics, the lawsuits thrown out, the recounts \u2026 it doesn\u2019t matter, don\u2019t you GET IT, the election was, say it after me, STOLEN!\u00a0 And because it was STOLEN! anything to right that wrong, to correct that error, to overturn the results is permissible if not mandatory.<\/p>\n
Even, it turns out according to the man the election was STOLEN! from, even if it means abandoning the Constitution of the United States.\u00a0 What good is that ancient testament if it allows the election of the President to be, yup, STOLEN!\u00a0 Write a new one, or better yet, let the rightful winner of that STOLEN! election make his own Constitution, a fairer one, an honest one, a revised and improved one.\u00a0 One that enshrines what a little less than half the national population believes is true.\u00a0 Magical thinking, yeah, but correct and proper magical thinking.\u00a0 The man is not only a genius with a very big brain, he\u2019s a conduit for Truth, THE conduit for Truth as a matter of fact.\u00a0\u00a0 Why do you think he calls his social media platform Truth Social?\u00a0 The Wizard is In!\u00a0 24\/7.<\/p>\n
Me, I believe the man.\u00a0 I think he really does think the election was STOLEN!\u00a0 He can no more imagine being a Loser than he can imagine Melania leaving him for Herschel Walker.\u00a0 You don\u2019t get to fire Donald J Trump, he does the firing.\u00a0 Didn\u2019t you see his TV show?\u00a0 Bam, big successful businessman points his nubby little finger and sayonara, buddy, you\u2019re gone, out the door, head down, beaten, deflated, a loser.\u00a0 Him, not Donald. Him.\u00a0 Every episode.\u00a0 Every time.\u00a0 Lose?\u00a0 No way!!\u00a0 NO WAY, amigo!!<\/p>\n
Give the guy another chance, all I\u2019m saying.\u00a0 No, not to be Prez again even if it was STOLEN!\u00a0 But give him another TV show.\u00a0 Call it FIRED!!\u00a0 Haul out a dusty Declaration of Independence and give it the old heave-ho.\u00a0 Bill of Rights?\u00a0 Time to put a match to those.\u00a0 You want to wake up the woke, what better way than slice and dice the Constitution and a few other old moldy antiquated documents from slave owning times.\u00a0 Freedom of Speech Amendment, here\u2019s the Door!\u00a0 Right to bear arms?\u00a0 Why not legs!?\u00a0 Cue the trumpets, we got another exit for the entertainment of our viewing audience.<\/p>\n
Let him host it.\u00a0 He\u2019s not going away, obviously.\u00a0 He\u2019s never going away.\u00a0 If you think that, you\u2019re the one guilty of magical thinking\u2026.<\/p>\n
